Managing Director appointed to Greater Philadelphia Executive Board

This announcement comes on the heels of ACAMS's launch of this founding chapter which will serve ACAMS members, non-members and compliance professionals in the Philadelphia, South Jersey and Delaware region.
The ACAMS Greater Philadelphia Chapter seeks to promote ACAMS as a platform for career development and professional networking for its members by organizing meetings and events of local interest. It also offers professionals the tools to gain expertise in the areas of detection and prevention of money laundering worldwide, and arms them with the information to promote the development and implementation of sound anti-money laundering (AML) strategies and practices. The Chapter's Executive Board is comprised of industry professionals from both the private and public sector in the greater Philadelphia area.
Mr. McLaughlin started his career as a white-collar crime investigator focusing on Fraud before moving his focus to Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Finance after 9/11. Mr. McLaughlin is a well-respected expert with extensive experience as an AML Compliance Officer with several major international financial institutions throughout the course of his career. As a former Compliance Officer, he understands the AML issues faced by clients as well as the solutions needed to address these issues. Mr. McLaughlin is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist who delivers educational seminars at a variety of compliance and regulatory conferences throughout the world.
