Director of Business Development (Regulatory DataCorp)

Regulatory Data Corporation (RDC), has the world's most comprehensive risk relevant information database, GRID, has rapidly become the trusted leader in risk due diligence and anti-money laundering compliance solutions around the globe. Due to our growth and expansion both domestically and internationally, we are searching for top-tier field based sales talent dedicated to selling our solutions in our Large and Mid-Market portfolios across the US and also in Europe. There are multiple field based sales roles which need to be staffed both in the US and in Europe near a major metropolitan airport for travel convenience.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the development and closure of new business in our suspect and prospect base as well as closure of additional volume business inside our existing client base. This role involves identifying opportunities and pursuing them vigorously through our well-defined sales process using all of the sales and marketing tools available to the successful candidate. Talented sales associates at RDC recognize that they are trusted, valued, respected and properly compensated members of our organization. Success Factors: To be successful in this role, the qualified candidate is expected to bring:

  • A well-documented track record of success selling high value, complex and occasionally long sales cycle deals into the highest level of an organization.
  • Experience creating need and/or finding need for our solutions by successfully articulating our Critical Business Issues to our suspects, prospects and clients.
  • The ability to create compelling events while selling against the “status quo” or “do nothing”. All of this leading to successful closure of revenue and attainment of goals for RDC.
  • An ability to communicate the RDC value proposition and benefits in an impactful manner, at various levels of seniority within an account.
  • An ability to follow a process but also the ability to be nimble when things don’t go according to plan.
  • Experience of moving within a fast-paced environment, leveraging expertise and knowledge across the organization while fostering collaborative ideas and deliverables.
  • An understanding of the processes and issues related to compliance, risk, and regulatory environment, as it relates to Financial Services organizations is helpful.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving new business, profit and revenue growth with the assigned territory either geographically or within named accounts.
  • Maintaining a level of pipeline as defined and required by RDC.
  • Communicate the RDC Value Proposition and benefits to clients.
  • Maintain and cultivate client relationships.
  • Ownership of the sales contracting process.
  • Work on developing strategic partnerships.
  • Reporting; including CRM (SalesForce.com)
  • Update clients on changes in regulatory risk and compliance issues;

Required Experience:

  • 7-10 or more years of experience in a direct field selling function, associated with value based solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Proven track record of success achieving annual sales targets while both selling new business to new clients and new business to existing clients.
  • A strong sense of teamwork to be able to collaborate with other team members
  • Strong selling and relationship management skills
  • A high-level understanding of the Financial Services and Financial Technology markets would be helpful

Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

RDC is searching for a dynamic, operations-focused Director of Strategic Programs. The Director of Strategic Programs will ensure the timely and accurate completion of multiple projects occurring simultaneously. The person in this role will be responsible for providing analytical support, consulting and cross-functional implementation leadership. If you are adept at hard analytical and soft people skills, and able to adapt to rapidly changing business needs, then this job can provide a great deal of personal satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  • Develop, launch, manage and complete the successful installation of strategic initiatives that enable revenue growth and improve company profitability and efficiency
  • Understand and ensure successful implementation of software company best practices across all functional areas
  • Track the efficacy of various initiatives and help implement the appropriate reporting and metrics to ensure desired results are being achieved
  • Work with executives and division managers on cross-company projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree minimum
